Running Waters

After the recent storms, I decided to head down to the Royal National Park to see if the previously dry creeks were running. I arrived before daylight. After checking my gear and backpack, I headed off just as the sky was starting to show glimpses of light.

It took me 20 minutes to find my way along the path which eventually revealed this bend in the creek. I struggled to find a spot to shoot from due to the slippery bank, mud and the number of trees/branches that had fallen over in the storm.

Just as I found this spot, the early morning, golden light started to break through from around the bend. I quickly took the shot and bolted and couldn’t get out of there quick enough ……. ( I really dislike leeches !@#$ )
