I don’t seem do a lot of coastal landscape photography. I’m not sure why that is. However, recently, I decided I’d check out Little Bay Beach with the hope of capturing a sunrise.

On waking up, I went to check the weather report but there was no need. It was raining… more of a drizzle than rain. I decided to toughen up and go anyway.

I’m glad I did. The rain became more intermittent so there was some hope still left. It’s quite a small beach - more of a bay than your traditional Aussie beach. Still, it’s just beautiful. It’s quiet, secluded and even the rain couldn’t dampen my spirits.

The bonus for me was that I did manage to capture a couple of images before heading back and I did enjoy being out there. I feel so blessed to live in this country.
