Wild West
I had heard about the Kennedy Range from a number of sources. Western Australia’s very own wild west.
Wild and remote it is ! So remote that I felt I had the place to myself. So when I decided to hike along one of the natural trails I found, I had no idea what to expect. It was rough, it was definitely wild and yet, extraordinarily beautiful. The ochre coloured sandstone plateau, the olive colour of the spinifex grasses and shrubs mixed in with the ever present wildflowers made this colour palette incredibly beautiful.
When combining these colours with what turned out to be a stunning sunset, well, it was just a matter of point the camera in any direction and shoot. However, yet again, I got so caught up with the magic that nature was dishing up for me, I forgot I had to find my way back to camp in the dark. I really, really …… really wish I stop doing that !
