Fleeting Rays

The Antarctic winds usually blow in on a regular basis at Marengo which is located on The Great Ocean Road, southern Victoria. It’s quite normal for it to be blustery and cold here.

However, on this early sunrise shoot, I was able to take shelter in a small cove out of the wind. The clouds looked threatening, but thankfully there were occasional breaks which gave me glimpses of the rising sun.

On this occasion, there was enough of a break to briefly catch some golden rays. Patience is not normally one of my virtues, but I felt it paid off on this occasion.
